Pet Policy

We love pets, but we also love furniture that isn’t covered in fur, so here’s what you need to know before bringing your four-legged (or less common, no-legged) friend to Chateau Scott and Laurette.

Yes! Well… kind of. We allow well-behaved dogs and cats—but if your pet has a history of property destruction or thinks furniture is a chew toy, we might need to have a talk.

We’re not picky, but let’s keep it reasonable. If your pet is large enough to be mistaken for a small horse, please check with us first.

There’s a $75 non-refundable pet fee per stay, which covers extra cleaning, lint rollers, and Scott’s emotional support fund for when he inevitably steps on a rogue chew toy.

• No unattended pets – If you wouldn’t leave your toddler alone in a hotel room, don’t do it with your dog.
• Leashes are required outside your room (unless your pet is telepathically trained, in which case, we’d love a demonstration).
• Barking & Meowing Etiquette – Occasional noise is fine, but if your pet is trying to start a conversation with every squirrel outside, we might have to intervene.
• Potty Business – Please clean up after your pet. Scott refuses to add "pooper scooper" to his job title.

• Exotic pets – No snakes, ferrets, tarantulas, or anything that makes us question our life choices.
• Aggressive animals – If your pet sees everyone as a potential snack, we’ll have to pass.
• Mildred’s arch-nemesis – If your pet is prone to barking at invisible ghosts, you’re in for a long night.

If your pet decides our furniture tastes amazing or uses the carpet as an art canvas, you’ll be responsible for any damages. We accept payment in cash, credit, and deep, personal apologies.
